I became interested in filmmaking and photography as a teenager, when my first short film was selected as a finalist at the Children's International Film Festival in 2015. I continue to make short experimental films in my free time.
My films often have no prior preparation or plot; I enjoy capturing moments on the go and thematically threading the sequences together using narration, music, and editing. My films often explore the themes of identity, memory, the passage of time, and the fine line between our internal states and the external world.
I hope to continue blending my two passions–psychology and cinema–and continue as an independent filmmaker and photographer while dedicating my time to psychological research and mental health awareness efforts.
