I'm a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Clinical Science program at the University of Michigan, working with Dr. Aidan Wright. I am interested in understanding the links between emotions, personality processes, and mental illness, particularly as they unfold in daily life.
In my current projects using ambulatory assessment methods, I ask: How is urgency (acting rashly when experiencing intense emotions) best measured in the moment? How does mental illness relate to behaviors in daily life? What are the real-life behavioral markers of impulsivity, a key aspect of personality?
